Even though you put yourself in a very poor situation, you made the decision that was best for you,and your child. You realized that you were not ready to have a child but also cared about the child so you gave them a good life by giving them up to someone who wanted and was ready to be a mom.Mistakes happen so hopefully you will learn from this and it will not happen again
Im 17 years old and a senior in high school so If I was put in this situation I would suggest that the mother would have an abortion. I think in our situation we would both not be ready to have a child, and she should not miss any time away from school in fear of altering her dreams for her life. Though I do support pro choice I believe the final decision is not up to me but up to the mother, it is her body, and her decision to make. If she were to keep the child then I would suggest that she put the child up for adoption. But if she believes she will be a more suitable parent then I will do everything I could to help this child have a great life, and support her in that decision.
The most important thing to take from this situation is that you made a big mistake, but you need to learn from this mistake. If this were to happen again then i believe you should man up and deal with the mistake you made, because you were not able to learn from it the first time
